About Counter Fate
Counter Fate is a comic that follows Aileen Mae, a late blooming mage. In the world of Undaterra, magic is seen as a common practice, a way to connect to others and nature. Aileen, however, had gotten used to a life without magic. Her mom had left her family at a young age, and the bullies at her school used that as continuous ammunition.When Aileen's peace is shaken and she loses her job at her beloved bookstore, her emotions overwhelm her into a shock. In a split second, her life is turned around, and she's been enrolled into Hawthorne Academy for the Magically Gifted. With thousands of expecting eyes on her, and a drive to attempt to find her mother, Aileen now has to learn and master the magic that tore her life apart in the first place.
About the Artist/Author
Tea, otherwise known as teacupweeb online, is an artist in her 20s based in Illinois. She is currently working on her Graphic Design BFA from UIUC. While she loves to illustrate and design, she is also a driven story-teller and day-dreamer. She spends her days ruminating about Counter Fate, and thinking a lot of thoughts.She also loves to hang out with her cats, Ollie and Megatron.
